hi,
so tonight i went to the dancestar awards
show and received two awards, the award
for best music dvd (for the 18 dvd) and
an award for 'outstanding contribution
to dance music'.
needless to say i'm very touched and flattered
to have received these awards and i would
like to say a special thank you to dancestar
and to the people who were involved in
organizing the awards show.
any success still strikes me as odd or
anomalous, especially seeing i still have
such distinct memories of walking around
manhattan in the rain with demo tapes
in the late 80's trying to get record
companies to listen to my music.
if someone had told me then that i would
be receiving awards such as these i honestly
never would have believed them.
so thanks again for these great awards,
they really do mean a lot to me.
